There is one season for girls lacrosse 8U:
8U season runs from April - June with a possible Jamboree tournament in May and June
8U program $150 plus $25 for pinnie if needed.
Before you register, please make sure your daughter tries on her old uniform to see if it still fits. A few girls last year found out after registration that they needed a bigger uniform.
If this is the first time that your child has played lacrosse for Minnetonka, you will need to purchase a uniform. If your child has played for Minnetonka already and has a uniform/pinnie there is no need to buy a new uniform unless you need larger sizes. If your child only needs a Pinnie then the a la carte prices are:
$25 for the Pinnie only
At the 8U level everyone is on the same team and there is no limit.
The following equipment is required and is NOT provided:
Cleats are optional.
It is important to make sure the stick is a GIRLS stick. It has a more shallow pocket and a longer shaft. These items can be purchased at most local sporting goods stores.
There is also an additional cost of $30 for the mandatory US Lacrosse membership (provides insurance coverage).
