Use this registration to sign up for the 2023 boys' 8U in-house lacrosse session to be held from early May through late June. The in-house season will not have any official games during the season but may include scrimmages.
We also have a preseason box lacrosse option for 8U players in March-April, which includes practices and games

REFUND POLICY:
Until activities covered by this registration (e.g., practices or games) have begun, MLA will consider written requests for withdrawals and refunds. After a program registration has closed, registrants will not be entitled to refunds except in the case of injury or similar extenuating circumstance that prevents practice and game participation. In such cases, the Minnetonka Lacrosse Association Board of Directors will approve the refund and may require documentation to substantiate the request.
No refunds will be given in the case where program sessions must be canceled due to weather, facilities closures, league cancellations, or other situations beyond MLA’s control.
USA LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED
For insurance reasons, all players must have a USA Lacrosse youth membership ($30 annually) to participate in MLA and league activities. Your USAL membership must remain valid through the end of the relevant lacrosse season. MLA recommends that you confirm your athlete's USAL membership status prior to beginning the registration process.

PLAYER AGE GROUPING
Players must register according to current USA Lacrosse Player Age Grouping guidelines:
*Minnesota boys' youth rules extend the USAL 14U age group by three months at the top end, but players who have started 9th grade are not eligible regardless of DOB.
AGE WAIVERS: Applications for age waivers (“playing up” or “playing down”) will be considered on a case-by-case basis, including for 8U players who wish to "play up" to 10U for league play. For an age-waiver evaluation, please email MLA. Final decisions on age waivers will be subject to approval by the relevant league.
