Players must register according to current US Lacrosse Player Age Segmentation guidelines:
Applications for age waivers (“playing up” or “playing down”) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 8U players who wish to "play up" to 10U for league play should contact the Boys' Youth Director for a waiver evaluation. Final decisions on age waivers will be subject to approval by the MLA boys' youth director and the GNLL league manager. For age-waiver questions, contact the Boys' Youth Director.
Players who have started 9th grade are not eligible regardless of DOB.
Eighth-graders who try out for and are selected for participation on an MHS team during the 2021 high-school season cannot participate in youth play during the spring field season. Their youth spring registrations will be refunded in full if needed.
For insurance reasons, all players must have a US Lacrosse youth membership ($30 annually) in order to participate in MLA and league activities. MLA recommends that you confirm your athlete's USL membership status prior to beginning the registration process.
